It has become common to turn on the news and hear about another child lost due to senseless violence. Communities are losing hundreds and thousands of kids across the nation to gangs and an unprecedented amount of shootings and killings. Chicago alone has received national attention for its alarming increase in youth violence and in 2013 has been dubbed as the murder capital. If you haven’t noticed, we are at war and the only way to win is to fight back. Have you ever heard the saying “it takes a village to raise a child?” Everything Kid’s has decided to become a part of that village. We will get involved with the children within our communities at an early age in an effort to combat the epidemic of violence, gangs and drugs that is taking over. We will work cohesively with parents and children to promote long term growth and development in leadership through preparation for an ever changing world.
